... Lakeshore flood advisory in effect until 10 PM EDT this
evening...

The National Weather Service in Detroit/Pontiac has issued a
Lakeshore flood advisory, which is in effect until 10 PM EDT this
evening.

* Lake Shore flooding... northeast winds of 10 to 20 knots will
lead to minor Lakeshore flooding along the Bay County shoreline.
Late this morning the water level at Essexville was 49 inches
above chart datum. Water levels are expected to hover around 50
inches through the day.

* Impacts... the high water level combined with persistent
northeasterly flow will result in minor shoreline flooding and
erosion.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Lakeshore flood advisory indicates that onshore winds will
generate flooding of low areas along the Lakeshore.
