... Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from Tuesday morning
through Wednesday morning...

* locations... North Woods... portions of the central Highland...
Central Aroostook and the St. John valley.

* Hazard types... snow... sleet and freezing rain

* accumulations... snow and sleet accumulation of 5 to 9
inches... along with a tenth of an inch of ice.

* Timing... precipitation will begin Tuesday morning and continue
into Wednesday morning.

* Impacts... roads could become treacherous and impassable. The
weight of the snow and ice on tree limbs and power lines could
lead to power outages.

* Winds... northeast 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

* Temperatures... in the mid 20s.
