... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 3 am to 6 PM EST
Monday...

The National Weather Service in Caribou has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow... which is in effect from 3 am to 6 PM
EST Monday.

* Locations... interior downeast Maine and the central Maine
Highlands.

* Hazard types... snow.

* Snow accumulations... 4 to 8 inches.

* Timing... beginning after midnight and continuing into Monday
afternoon.

* Impacts... moderate impact. Heavy snowfall will result in
difficult driving conditions.

* Winds... east 5 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

* Temperatures... in the lower 20s.

* Visibilities... one quarter to one half mile at times.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or
