inches expected.

* Where... portions of coastal downeast, interior downeast and
Penobscot valley Maine.

* When... from 1 am to 1 PM EST Thursday.

* Additional details... plan on slippery Road conditions. The
hazardous conditions could impact the morning commute.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Expect snow covered roads
and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.

... Minor splash-over possible around the time of high tide
Thursday...

* location... Roque Bluffs State Park... Machias... Quoddy Head
State Park

* timing... flooding impacts are expected within 2 hours either
side of the high tide cycle. High tide will occur around noon.
The astronomical tide is near the highest levels of the month.

* Tidal flood impacts... water may begin to approach the most
vulnerable locations along the coast. Low-lying causeways will
have some minor splash-over, but inundation is not expected.

* Shoreline flood impacts... minor splashover is possible.


Time of high total tides are approximate to the nearest hour.
