... Coastal Flood Advisory in effect until 4 am EST Tuesday...

The National Weather Service in Baltimore MD/Washington DC has
issued a coastal Flood Advisory... which is in effect until 4 am
EST Tuesday.

* Location... low lying shoreline.

* Tidal departure... around two feet above astronomical normal.

* Timing... into late tonight. High tide in Annapolis is at 1:54
am.

* Impacts... water is expected to reach portions of the Annapolis
city dock and portions of compromise street. Minor shoreline
inundation is possible elsewhere.


Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A coastal Flood Advisory indicates that onshore winds and tides
will combine to generate flooding of low areas along the shore.



Forecast tides are referenced to mean lower low water (mllw) and
mean higher high water (mhhw) unless otherwise noted. Time of high
total tide is approximate to nearest hour. Total tide combines the
normal tide and departure from normal. Flood impact is based on
the total tide and waves where applicable.
