... Dense fog advisory in effect until 10 am CST this morning...

The National Weather Service in New Orleans has issued a dense
fog advisory... which is in effect until 10 am CST this morning.

* Visibility... one quarter mile or less.

* Impacts... motorists are advised to use extreme caution and
allow for additional travel time. Use low beams... reduce
driving speed and allow for plenty of room between other cars
as vehicles and other objects on and near roadways will be
seen only at close range.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...
use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.

morning...

* visibility... one mile or less.
