snow possible. Total snow accumulations of around one inch.

north central Kentucky.

* Additional details... moderate snows could overcome warm Road
temperatures... allowing briefly slippery conditions. As rates
come back down, the snow should melt quickly.

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Expect snow covered roads
and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.

evening through Thursday morning...

The Flood Watch continues for

* most of central Kentucky.

* From 7 PM EST /6 PM CST/ this evening through Thursday morning

* moderate to heavy rainfall is expected to produce widespread
rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches.

* Minor flooding is likely, including the possibility of
significant ponding of water on roadways. Expect water issues
in low lying and poor drainage areas. Some smaller creeks and
streams will likely see quick rises. Longer duration river
flooding will continue through the week.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

Monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible flood warnings.
Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to
take action *before* flooding develops.
