Watches & Warnings

Dense Fog Advisory
Issued: 2:14 AM CST Feb. 27, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Dense fog advisory remains in effect until 7 am CST this
morning...

* visibility... near zero to quarter mile visibility is being
reported and observed throughout the advisory area.

* Impacts... significant reductions in visibility will create a
hazardous driving situation. Some locations are reporting
freezing fog which may make roadways slick especially on bridges
and overpasses.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use
your low beam headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of
you.
