* lake effect snow showers with drifting snow at times. Lake
   effect snow showers are expected to develop by late Thursday
   morning... and increase in coverage by late Thursday afternoon.
   The more significant lake effect snow accumulations are
   expected from Thursday evening through Friday morning.

* Snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches by late Friday.

* snow covered and slippery roads are expected especially from
