Watches & Warnings

Dense Fog Advisory
Issued: 10:30 PM EST Feb. 19, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Dense fog advisory in effect until 10 am EST Monday...

The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a dense fog
advisory... which is in effect until 10 am EST Monday.

* Timing... areas of dense fog can be expected overnight and into
the morning hours on Monday.

* Impacts... visibilities will be a quarter of a mile or less at
times. These poor visibilities will result in hazardous travel
conditions.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Motorists should use extra caution. Slow down, use low-beam
headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you as objects
on and near roadways will be seen only at close range due to low
visibilities.
