... Flood Watch now in effect through Friday afternoon...

The Flood Watch is now in effect for

* portions of central Idaho, eastern Idaho, south central Idaho,
and southeast Idaho, including the following areas, in central
Idaho, big and little Wood River region, Lost
River/pahsimeroi, and Sawtooth Mountains. In eastern Idaho,
upper snake Highlands. In south central Idaho, eastern Magic
Valley. In southeast Idaho, Cache Valley/Idaho portion,
Caribou Highlands, south Central Highlands, and Wasatch
mountains/Idaho portion.

* Through Friday afternoon

* excessive snowmelt along with rainfall.

* Above freezing temperatures and moderate to heavy rainfall
starting Wednesday night and continuing through Thursday night
will enhance the runoff from near record snow pack in the higher
elevations.
