Issued: 2:00 PM PST Feb. 25, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from midnight tonight to
10 am PST Tuesday...

The National Weather Service in Spokane has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow... which is in effect from midnight
tonight to 10 am PST Tuesday.

* Locations... Moscow, Plummer, Potlatch, Genesee, Kellogg,
Pinehurst, Osburn, Wallace, Mullan, Fourth of July Pass,
Dobson Pass, Lookout Pass, Pullman, Colfax, Rosalia, La
Crosse, Oakesdale, Tekoa, and Uniontown.

* Snow accumulations... 3 to 6 inches tonight into Sunday and 2 to
5 inches Sunday night into Monday. Another 1 to 3 inches is
possible Monday night into Tuesday.

* Timing... snow will develop overnight, continue through Sunday.
The snow may taper off Sunday evening, but redevelop late Sunday
night through Monday. Snow will decrease by Tuesday morning.

* Impacts... roadways are expected to become snow covered and
slippery. Motorists should prepare for winter driving
conditions... especially during the late night and morning
hours.

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
