department of environmental quality...

Due to smoke from wildfires, the air quality has become unhealthy
for sensitive groups in Blaine County of Idaho including the
cities of Ketchum, Bellevue and Hailey. This advisory will remain
in effect until air quality has significantly improved.

Those individuals who are sensitive to increased particulate or
smoke levels are encouraged to limit prolonged or strenuous
outdoor activity. An increase in symptoms of asthma and other
respiratory ailments are liekly. Your cooperation is appreciated.

Another statement will be issued about 9 am MDT Sunday unless
conditions improve and the advisory is no longer needed.

... Red flag warning remains in effect from noon today to 11 PM
MDT this evening for thunderstorms and gusty outflow winds for
southeast Idaho fire weather zone 411...

* affected area... fire weather zone 411.

* Thunderstorms... scattered dry thunderstorms are expected to
develop by early afternoon and continue through late evening.

* Precipitation... generally under 0.10 inches.

* Outflow winds... over 30 mph likely.

* Impacts... any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
Outdoor burning is not recommended.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now... or will shortly. Fires may experience
rapid rates of growth. Please advise the appropriate officials or
fire crews in the field of the red flag warning for portions of
southeast Idaho.
