... Slick roadways expected tonight through Sunday...

An area of low pressure and associated passing cold front will
bring accumulating snow to the region tonight into Sunday.
Expected snow to arrive across the region this evening and
continue through early afternoon Sunday with periods of heavy snow
Sunday morning. Expect accumulations of 4 to 6 inches of snow at
Galena and Banner Summit and along portions of US-75. Upwards of 9
inches are forecast over 7000 ft. Meanwhile, a rain/snow mix can
be expected this evening at Sun Valley, Ketchum and the rest of
The Wood River Valley then transition over to snow overnight.
Snow totals in these areas will accumulate between 1 and 3 inches.
Area roadways will quickly become slick and slushy. Those
traveling should be aware of these conditions, drive slowly and
allow more time to reach their destination.
