... A band of moderate snow this morning...

At 955 am CST a narrow band of moderate snow extended from just
west of Des Moines to near Ottumwa. The band of snow was moving
eastward and will be affecting portions of eastern Iowa and
northeast Missouri this morning.

Visibility will quickly drop to less than a mile and frequently to
1/2 mile with snowfall amounts of an inch or two likely.

With temperatures in the 20s roadways will quickly become snow
covered and hazardous this morning. Slow down and use extra caution.
