The National Weather Service in Des Moines has issued a

* Flood Warning for...
Bremer County in northeastern Iowa...

* until 215 PM CDT Sunday.

* At 216 PM CDT, emergency management reported flooding continues
across much of northeastern Bremer County. In particular, Highway
93 into Sumner remains closed due to water covering the roadway.
Bremer County law enforecement reported flooding continues on
roadways east of Readlyn towards the northeastern edge of Waverly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Sumner, Tripoli, Readlyn and Frederika.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, country roads, farmland, highways,
streets and underpasses as well as other drainage areas and low
lying spots.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.
