The National Weather Service in Quad Cities has issued a
* Flood Warning for
the wapsipinicon river near De Witt 4s.
* Until further notice.
* At 10:30 am Saturday the stage was 10.2 feet... and rising.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* No flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage today... and continue rising to
12.1 feet Sunday morning. Crest between 13 feet and 14 feet July 29th.
* Impact... at 13.0 feet... water affects many residences along the
river.

The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities has issued a

* Flood Warning for...
Clinton County in east central Iowa...

* until 600 PM CDT Saturday

* at 901 am CDT, emergency management significant flooding was still
occurring. As a result the Flood Warning for Clinton County has
been extended until 5 PM. Radar estimates that at least 3 to 4
inches of rain fell overnight. The heavy rain risk is over.
However, motorists should remain alert for water on roads and
barricaded roads. Conditions will slowly improve through the day.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Clinton, DeWitt, Camanche, Fulton, Wheatland, Grand Mound, Delmar,
Lost Nation, Calamus, Charlotte, McCausland, Low Moor, Welton,
Toronto, Andover, Goose Lake, Lyons, Malone, Folletts and Teeds
Grove.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

The National Weather Service in Quad Cities has issued a
* Flood Watch for
the Mississippi River at Camanche
* until Tuesday evening.
* At 11:30 am Saturday the stage was 13.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is possible.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage Monday... and continue rising to
17.4 feet Tuesday morning. Fall below flood stage Tuesday evening.
* This forecast is based on routed flow from upstream in combination
with forecast rainfall. Consequently there is limited confidence
in the river reaching flood stage.
