... Dense fog advisory in effect until 9 am CDT this morning...
The National Weather Service in Quad Cities has issued a dense
fog advisory, which is in effect until 9 am CDT this morning.
* Visibilities... one quarter mile or less. The visibility will
start to improve after sunrise and especially by 9 am CDT.
* Timing... now through 9 am CDT.
* Impacts... travel is likely to be challenging early this
morning and make the morning commute rather difficult. Use low
beam headlights, slow down, and allow extra space between you
and the vehicle ahead of you.
A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use
your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
