central Volusia County...

at 745 PM EST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was approaching the Daytona international Speedway, or 7 miles west
of Daytona Beach, moving northeast at 60 mph.

Hazard... tornado and quarter size hail.

Source... radar indicated rotation.

Impact... flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
         likely.

This dangerous storm will be near...
Ormond Beach, Holly Hill and Daytona Beach Airport around 750 PM
EST.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Ormond

northeastern Seminole and southeastern Volusia counties...

at 738 PM EST, a strong and dangerous tornado was located near
Geneva and Lake Harney, moving northeast at 60 mph.

This is a particularly dangerous situation. Take cover now!

Hazard... damaging tornado.

Source... radar indicated rotation.

Impact... you are in a life-threatening situation. Flying debris may
         be deadly to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes
         will be destroyed. Considerable damage to homes,
         businesses, and vehicles is likely and complete destruction

producing waterspouts were developing ahead of a fast moving
squall line that was moving rapidly east at 40 to 50 mph across
the central Florida Peninsula. These storms will move quickly
offshore the east central Florida coast through late evening.

Hazard... waterspouts and wind gusts in excess of 50 knots.

EST Monday. A Small Craft Advisory has also been issued. This

* Winds... south to southwest 20 knots today will increase to near
25 knots tonight and Monday from the west. Frequent gusts to
gale force expected.

* Waves/seas... seas building to 6 to 8 feet around 20 miles
offshore tonight through Monday night.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Small Craft Advisory means that wind speeds of 20 to 33 knots
are expected to produce hazardous wave conditions to small craft.
Inexperienced mariners... especially those operating smaller
vessels should avoid navigating in these conditions.
