... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until noon MDT
Wednesday...

* timing... a mix of rain and snow this evening, then snow heavy at
times overnight. Snowfall will then diminish by early Wednesday
afternoon.

* Snow accumulations... 4 to 12 inches, with the heaviest amounts
likely over the higher terrain west of Interstate 25.

* Wind/visibility... bands of moderate to heavy snow coupled with
gusty winds to 25 mph will reduce visibilities to less than a
half mile at times.

* Impacts... roads will become slushy or snowpacked during the
period of heaviest snow tonight and early Wednesday morning.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow...
sleet... and ice are expected or occurring. Strong winds are also
possible. This will make travel very hazardous or impossible.
