... Significant weather advisory for northeastern Douglas and
southwestern Arapahoe counties until 400 PM MDT...

At 317 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
northeastern Centennial, or 14 miles southeast of Denver, moving
southeast at 15 mph.

Nickel size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
this storm. May also see small hail accumulate a couple inches deep.

Weather spotters have already reported nickle size hail with this
storm.

Locations impacted include...
southern Aurora, eastern Centennial, northern Parker and Arapahoe
Park.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Prepare for sudden gusty winds. Secure loose objects and move to a
safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead to
minor street flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

At 254 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Centennial, or 8 miles southeast of Denver, moving southeast at 15
mph.

Half inch hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Denver, southwestern Aurora, Centennial, northeastern Highlands
Ranch, Parker, Greenwood Village, Lone Tree, Surrey Ridge and
Arapahoe Park.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead to
