Winter Weather Advisory
Issued: 6:04 AM MDT Mar. 28, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 6 PM this evening to
6 am MDT Wednesday...

The National Weather Service in Denver has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow, which is in effect from 6 PM this
evening to 6 am MDT Wednesday.

* Timing... snowfall will develop today and continue tonight, and
then diminish Wednesday morning.

* Snow accumulations... 4 to 9 inches, with the heavier snow
amounts on east facing slopes.

* Wind/visibility... periods of heavy snowfall and north winds to
25 mph will reduce visibilities to less than a half mile at
times.

* Impacts... roads will become slushy or snowpacked during the
period of heaviest snow tonight.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
