A significant winter storm remains on track to begin to impact
eastern Utah and western Colorado Thursday evening. This storm
system will be cold with snow levels dropping to 5,000 to 6,000
feet by Friday morning. This storm system is expected to reside
over the forecast area through at least Saturday morning with
snowfall in the mountains reaching 5 to 10 inches with locally
higher amounts possible. Please keep an eye on your local forecast
for updates including possible winter weather advisories and
winter storm warnings.
