Winter Storm Warning
Issued: 2:43 PM MST Jan. 23, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Winter Storm Warning now in effect until 6 PM MST Tuesday...

* locations include Skyway and Mesa Lakes.

* Timing... snow... heavy at times this evening... will continue
through Tuesday.

* Snow accumulation... 8 to 16 inches.

* Winds... southwest 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph today
becoming west to northwest and decreasing overnight.

* Impacts... mountain roadways will become snow packed with winter
driving conditions continuing through the middle of the week.
Visibilities will be reduced to under a half mile at times
during the heaviest snowfall and from blowing snow.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow are
expected or occurring. Strong winds and blowing snow are also
possible. This will make travel very hazardous or impossible.
