... Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from Monday evening
through Tuesday afternoon...

* locations include... Durango, Bayfield, Ignacio, and Pagosa
Springs.

* Timing... scattered snow showers are possible Monday afternoon,
though the threat of heavy wet snow is expected to hold off
until Monday evening then continue through noon Tuesday.

* Snow accumulation... 4 to 8 inches possible.

* Winds... southwest 5 to 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

* Visibility... possibly less than one mile at times in moderate to
heavy snow.

* Impacts... the heavy snow will make many roads impassable and
may produce widespread power outages due to the weight of the
snow on tree limbs and power lines.
