The National Weather Service in Denver Colorado has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
southern Weld County in northeastern Colorado...
southwestern Morgan County in northeastern Colorado...
northeastern Adams County in northeastern Colorado...

* until 315 PM MDT.

* At 245 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 8 miles west of Hoyt, or 28 miles southwest of Fort
Morgan, moving east at 10 mph.

Hazard... tornado.

Source... radar indicated rotation.

Impact... flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
           damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
Hoyt.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Take cover now! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
Mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.

for south central Weld... southwestern Morgan and northeastern Adams
counties...

At 238 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles west of
Hoyt, or 28 miles southwest of Fort Morgan, moving east at 10 mph.
A Tornado Warning remains in effect for this storm.

Hazard... Golf Ball size hail.

Source... radar indicated.

Impact... people and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect damage
         to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles.

Locations impacted include...
Hoyt.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

This storm is producing large hail. Seek shelter now inside a sturdy
structure and stay away from windows.

Intense thunderstorm lines can produce brief tornadoes and widespread
significant wind damage. Although a tornado is not immediately
likely, it is best to move to an interior room on the lowest floor of
a building. This storm may cause serious injury and significant
property damage.

The National Weather Service in Denver Colorado has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
south central Weld County in northeastern Colorado...
southwestern Morgan County in northeastern Colorado...

* until 430 PM MDT.

* At 235 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain 9 miles west of Hoyt. The rain is moving east at 25 mph.
Up to one inch of rain has already fallen, on top of several
inches that fell last night. Flash flooding is expected to begin
shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Prospect Valley, Hoyt and Roggen.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.
