Beach Hazard Statement
Issued: 1:05 PM PDT Jun. 24, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Beach hazards statement remains in effect until 11 PM PDT this
evening...

* tides... highest tide of around 6.9 to 7.2 feet tonight at 955
PM.

* Impacts... minor tidal overflow of low lying beach areas will be
possible during the time of highest tide this evening.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A beach hazards statement for minor tidal overflow means that
high astronomical tides may produce minor flooding of low-lying
areas along the beach such as beach parking lots. Coastal
officials should take the necessary precautionary measures to
safeguard their beaches.
