Wind Advisory
Issued: 6:21 PM PDT Mar. 29, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Wind Advisory in effect from noon to 8 PM PDT Thursday...

The National Weather Service San Francisco Bay area has issued a
Wind Advisory, which is in effect for coastal areas from noon to
8 PM PDT Thursday.

* Timing... winds will increase by midday Thursday and remain
strong and gusty into Thursday evening. Strongest winds are
expected from mid afternoon through early evening Thursday.

* Winds... northwest winds of 20 to 30 mph are forecast along with
gusts up to 45 mph.

* Impacts... possible downed trees and limbs, blowing debris, and
local power outages.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that wind gusts of at least 45 mph are
expected. Winds this strong can make driving
difficult... especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra
caution.
