Thursday...

The National Weather Service in Los Angeles/Oxnard has issued a
Wind Advisory, which is in effect from 3 PM Wednesday to 10 am
PST Thursday.

* Winds... areas of northwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 50
mph Wednesday afternoon through Thursday morning. Winds may
continue through Thursday night.

* Impacts... winds this strong can down power lines and weakly
rooted trees. Gusty winds will make driving difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles. Winds with occasional
snowfall could result in dangerous Road conditions and travel
delays.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

When driving, use extra caution. Be prepared for sudden gusty
cross winds.
