... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 4 am PST Monday...

* timing... heavy snow through early this evening before tapering off
overnight.

* Snow level... down to the valley floor.

* Total snow accumulations Sunday and Sunday night... 6 to 12
inches. Locally higher amounts possible.

* Winds... south 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.

* Impacts... heavy snow and blowing snow will create dangerous travel
conditions on Highway 395 in the Owens Valley.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

If you must travel... be prepared for winter driving conditions
and keep an extra flashlight... food... and water in your vehicle
in case you become stranded.
