The Flood Warning continues for
the Truckee River near Truckee.
* Until Sunday morning.
* At 7:30 PM Saturday the stage was 4.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 4.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
Saturday evening.
* Impact... at 5.0 feet... minor flooding from Bear Creek in the Alpine
Meadows area to Truckee. Truckee River bike path between the River
Ranch at Alpine Meadows Road to Tahoe City flooded up to a foot
deep. Minor flooding of basements and yards of some low-lying
homes along the river. About 2850 cfs.

1045 PM PST Saturday for southern Plumas... northwestern alpine...
Placer... El Dorado... northwestern Calaveras... southeastern Tehama...
Central Butte... Sierra... northeastern Yuba... Amador and Nevada
counties...

At 427 PM PST, moderate to heavy rain and snowmelt is causing street
flooding with streams running higher and faster over much of the
West Slope of the Sierra Nevada. Minor flooding may occur along
streams into the evening. 12 hour rainfall amounts of 2 to 5 inches
has been widespread over these areas.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Paradise, Auburn, Grass Valley, Placerville, Jackson, Brush Creek rs,
Downieville, Cisco, Quincy, Kirkwood, Blue Canyon, Big Bend Summit,
Soda Springs, Pulga, Sierra City, Baxter, El Dorado Hills, Cameron
Park, Paloma and San Andreas.
