*travel delays due to slick roads and mountain snow. Snow levels
   around 6000 to 7000 feet with moderate travel impacts near
   passes.

*Local Road flooding possible in poor drainage areas.


.Timing and strength...

   *next wave of precipitation expected early Friday through early
    Sunday.

   *Rain totals in the Sacramento Valley ranging from a half to
    one inch with two inches or more in the foothills.

   *Snow totals ranging one to four inches near Sierra pass levels
    with one to two feet near Sierra crest.
