Special Statement
Issued: 1:36 PM CST Feb. 25, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Freezing temperatures likely over much of Arkansas tonight...

High pressure will settle over the region tonight resulting in clear
skies and light winds. As such, temperatures are expected to fall
below freezing across a large part of the state.

Freezing temperatures will last several hours, at least in northern
and much of central Arkansas. Due to the recent warm weather, many
plants have begun to bloom. Freezing temperatures will likely damage
or even kill any sensitive plants that are unprotected.

Caution should be taken to protect any sensitive outdoor plants and
vegetation. Consider bringing in outdoor pets as well.
