... High surf advisory in effect from 4 am Wednesday to 4 am akdt
Thursday...

The National Weather Service in Fairbanks has issued a high surf
advisory... which is in effect from 4 am Wednesday to 4 am akdt
Thursday.

* Waves and surf... waves to 4 feet breaking just offshore
combined with a storm surge of up to 4 feet will produce high
surf conditions.

* Timing... high surf conditions will develop Wednesday
morning... and will peak late Wednesday afternoon before
diminishing early Thursday.

* Impacts... the high surf and elevated sea levels could cause
localized beach erosion.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A high surf advisory means that localized beach erosion is
expected. Precautions should be taken to protect property.
