... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 3 PM Wednesday to 3 PM
akst Thursday...

The National Weather Service in Fairbanks has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for blowing snow which is in effect from 3 PM
Wednesday to 3 PM akst Thursday. The Winter Storm Watch is no
longer in effect.

* Snow... 3 to 7 inches.

* Blowing snow... reducing visibility to one half mile or less.

* Winds... east 20 to 30 mph gusting to 40 mph.

* Timing... conditions will deteriorate Wednesday afternoon as the
winds increase and moderate to heavy snow moves into the area.

* Impacts... travel and outdoor activities will be difficult. Near
blizzard conditions will occur.
