Snow will continue through the night with up to 3 more inches of
additional accumulation by noon Saturday. The heaviest snow will
occur east of Fairbanks.

Nearly 6 inches of snow has fallen in areas around Fairbanks as
of 6 PM Friday.

Gusty west winds around 30 mph in the upper Tanana Valley are
creating difficult driving conditions in blowing snow. Travel
throughout the area has been difficult as vehicles kick up the
snow creating poor visibility.

Snow will taper off to flurries by Saturday afternoon and end
early Sunday.

Drivers should drive with lights on at all times... and leave extra
room between vehicles to compensate for poor braking conditions.
