after areas of dense fog this morning, sunny skies and
comfortable conditions are expected for the rest of the day. Dry
again Monday, as temperatures rise above normal.


Near term /until 6 PM this evening/...
issued a dense fog advisory for a large portion of the area
through 10am. The area is generally counties which dealt with
the strong thunderstorms Saturday afternoon.

Following the dissipation of the fog, building high pressure
will result in a dry day with seasonable temperatures.


Short term /6 PM this evening through Tuesday/...
warm, moist advection, with flat ridging, in advance of a
midwestern shortwave, as per the latest model solutions,
indicate increased humidity with a rapid temperature moderation
above the averages for Monday.

Next front is expected to drive southward through the area
Tuesday afternoon and evening. This will be the next chance for
widespread shower and storm activity.


Long term /Tuesday night through Saturday/...
eastern Continental U.S. Troughing is then forecast to support temperatures
a few degrees under the averages for the remainder of the week
along with dry weather.


Aviation /10z Sunday through Thursday/...
IFR/LIFR conditions in fog are expected to continue for most
ports early this morning with low level moisture in place from
recent rain. Mixing should dissipate the fog by mid morning,
with VFR then expected for the rest of the taf period under
high pressure.
