Discussion...

Short discussion this afternoon with remnants of tropical
depression moving across eastern portions of mid state presently.
Expect potential of svr tstms to end by no later than early
evening hrs across the Cumberland Plateau region, if not sooner.
With heavy rainfall potential having moved eastward also, previous
Flash Flood Watch was cancelled also. Some lingering mainly light
shwrs and potentially a tstm or two behind this area thru the
evening hrs. A slight to chance of light shwrs after midnight
south and east as weak sfc front pushes through mid state. Dry
and pleasant wx expected over weekend and into the first part of
next work week. A return to a more summertime pattern of
shwrs/tstms late next work week. As for temps, went close to
superblend values thru forecast period.

Aviation...
18z taf discussion.

Ckv/bna/mqy/csv....main concern for terminals will be impacts of
shwrs/sct tstms along with sfc gust to 30kts at times as broad
area of shwrs/sct tstms associated with the remnants of Tropical
Depression Cindy continues to move across the mid state region
thru 24/00z. Although technically not defined as llws, gusts 40 to
50kts within 1 kft of sfc probable. Sfc frontal passage 24/06z west
to 24/12z east should usher any remaining shwrs east of mid state
region, with VFR/sky clear conditions across entire mid state by 24/12z.
