Discussion...some low and mid clouds this morning hanging over
the region are causing some very light rain, mainly in the
mountains. In northwest Montana where skies have cleared out more,
there is some patchy valley fog. Locations with visibility
sensors are reporting visibility 1 to 3 miles this morning, though
some denser patches are likely as well.

The main change in the longer term was to increase the chances of
precipitation for the trough next weekend. Confidence is
increasing quickly for a wetter system during this time period.
Snow levels remain a challenge though, especially early next
week. Though models agree well on bringing the trough through the
area, they disagree on how long the cooler air mass associated
with it persists over the area.

Aviation...fog has formed in a few locations across northwest
Montana this morning including Libby and at kgpi. Expect fog to
dissipate by 26/1600z in these areas later this morning.
Otherwise, expect clouds to persist through the afternoon and
begin to dissipate after 26/2200z as an upper level ridge builds
in. More sunshine with VFR conditions are expected on Wednesday
and Thursday.

Mso watches/warnings/advisories...
