.SHORT TERM...(This evening through Tuesday)
Issued at 246 PM CDT Mon Sep 26 2016

Only concern in the next 24 h will be gusty winds tomorrow
afternoon.

Very little difference in model solutions the next 24 h. All models
show cyclonic flow continuing over the eastern Plains through 00Z
Wednesday. This will keep dry air over the area with winds dropping
off overnight and increasing during the afternoon. Winds will gust
between 25 and 30 mph tomorrow afternoon. Dew points will also fall
during the afternoon as the atmosphere mixes resulting in afternoon
relative humidities below 30 percent. Lows overnight will fall into
the upper 30s and lower 40s with highs tomorrow in the upper 60s to
mid 70s.

.LONG TERM...(Tuesday night through Monday)
Issued at 246 PM CDT Mon Sep 26 2016

Relatively quiet stretch of weather this week with upper ridge
remaining across the area. Have raised cloud cover across southwest
Minnesota Tuesday night into Wednesday morning as upper wave wraps
around upper low over the great lakes region. Appears that moisture
will scour out during the day on Wednesday, but still could see some
diurnal cumulus during peak heating.

Relatively drier atmosphere in the low levels on Thursday into
Friday resulting in mostly clear conditions; however, could see a
few high clouds filter in on Friday.

Appears to get somewhat breezy on Sunday afternoon into Monday. Have
limited pop chances to central South Dakota Sunday afternoon, but
could see more widespread activity Sunday night into Monday with low
level jet developing across the plains.

Temps look to be near normal through the period, and with little in
the way standard deviation in the men guidance, stuck close to
blend.
