Discussion...
northerly flow behind a large upper level low over the Great Lakes
will help to drive a cold front through the panhandles today. Highs
today will not be affected too much by the front. But temperatures
will be cooler on Thursday and Friday behind it.

An upper level ridge will be found across the panhandles through
much of the weekend. The ridge will start to break down by early
next week as a short wave trough moves across The Rockies.

There is an outside chance of some showers Friday night and again
Saturday night, mainly across the north. A couple of weak short
waves will hook up with some moisture as they glance by the
panhandles to our north.
