Nice capture of this tremendous tornado, congrats on your AC and that's a pretty powerful situation, being so close to the damage and folks who have sustained losses, share lots of love for me.

Thanks to all your comments! It was terrifying and yet at the same time I was awestruck at the magnitude of the tornado and wall cloud. It literally formed up right overhead from where I was standing, moved a couple of miles southeast and touched down. My prayers go out to the families that had loss of life and injuries.

About weatherisbetter

weatherisbetter

I enjoy the weather and taking pictures, so it was inevitable that I would find a web site that would cater to both these passions. Living in Texas since 2002 has given me the opportunity to see some of the most spectacular weather and cloud formations I have ever seen. I try and capture images whenever I get the chance to witness the unusual, dramatic and constantly evolving sky. I enjoy seeing so many great pictures that other contributors have taken from around the globe and I look forward to sharing with you my pictures in the future.Create your own visitor map!
