Wow! Great image! I heard there was a tornado south of Little Rock...after looking closer at news, three counties with damage, Hempstead, White and Saline. One person injured in White Co. We dodged it here in Ozark, storm split around us. Glad you're okay! Thank you for sharing your part of our world!
P.S. A 10 for bravery!
UPDATE:3/11/10 8:45pm A fatality from the tornado in AR that hit the town of Pearson in the north central part of the state.

That looks pretty doggoned mean to me.. Great coverage. Must have been pretty intense to see and hear that close.

Wow !! I've always had a sick fascination with wanting to experience a tornado close but not too close. Was that too close ?

I give you a ten... not for the quality of the picture... but for the fact that you had the intestinal fortitude to stay upright long enough to let us see a way beyond scary storm just meters away! Thank you for your bravery!

If this Dorothy saw one of these things coming my way, I would be looking for a hole on the ground instead of my camera!!! Good job!

Thanks for all the comments. I was standing on my back porch when I shot this with just my short lens. I watched it pass from SW to NE for over 10 minutes. It only had wind speeds of up to 60mph so it wasn't moving very fast...just really large.
