Hi and thanks for your comments. One of the things that Mongolia is famous for is it's big blue sky - for something like 260 days of the year it is like this - clear and blue. The vastness of the steppe seems to make the sky bigger than everywhere else!

Beautiful deep blue sky with contrasting white clouds - so lovely! The grasses look like life is tough, but maybe it's knowing this is Mongolia and we have preconceived ideas of what to expect. Amazing how nature replenishes after the harshness of winter. Thanks for sharing from waaaay over there!!
