Beaver's Warning Slap

Uploaded by: tomekandjola

Samborsko,

Caption: After making several turns up and down the stream, the beaver suddenly forcefully slapped the water with his tail with a loud noise, then dived and appeared again several meters farther. This loud alarm signal serves as a warning to other beavers in the area - they dive and may not come back up for some time. Or maybe it was a warning to me, to get away from his territory?
