Incredible view - great photo! My car used to putter up those switch backs, struggling so hard in the high altitude and on the steep grade. Never did the hike, just enjoyed the little park and lake. I really love all your photos of the views and mountain scenery from your impressive hikes!

I really love going to these wild, desolate high places with you, even if only through your gorgeous photos. Love spending time with the geologic time scale instead of the human, and in your photos, you collapse the two. Very nice.
