Haha! Thanks Duane and Kathy. I guess the humor is that the water is so low, this really isn't much of a lake. They probably had to move the sign down on the tree!

Thought from the thumbnail that the sign was going to say, "Don't feed the alligators." Great series, Gayle; glad you had a good time in Okefenokee! Congrats on the series AC!

About swampteach

swampteach

Hi, I'm Gayle. I'm a retired teacher and am very much enjoying all of God's blessings - especially our grandchildren and traveling. My husband and I love to travel in our RV, and though I'm definitely an amateur, I enjoy taking pictures of the amazing beauty to be found everywhere we go. I first fell in love with this site when I used the wunderful radars as a weather teaching tool in my classroom. Thanks Wunderground! Since I retired I discovered how much I enjoy seeing the world through the pictures here. I am so inspired by the beauty captured by you talented people. There's much to learn from all of you. Thanks everyone!
