Caption: on the stunning summit of Mt Washington..we were extraordinarily lucky to have one of the best days in memory..for late October..to visit the place noted for the "World's worst and most extreme weather"..no wind(unheard of on the summit 99.999% of the time)..15 degrees(normal for this date)..and crystal clear(unheard of on an average of 354 days of the year)..in other words..a perfectly perfect day to visit..and take a 200+ photos! my first experience with fabulous Rime ice

That's EXACTLY what I finally said John..we'd been looking at and driving by this mountain for years, but had never gone UP it..and we certainly did pick the RIGHT DAY!!!
