Caption: or the closest thing I've seen to it!! on a totally stunning, blue sky day..a beautiful, rime covered stairway to the majestic and dangerous Tuckerman's Ravine was cordoned off so we could descend..but this was close enough for me anyhow..LOL!!

thanks Dianne..but I am NOT brave at all when it comes to heights..deathly afraid of them..this trip did not scare me tho..the cog's been running for 147 yrs and I don't think anyone has ever been killed riding it..I would NEVER drive up the Auto Road..see pervious statement re: deathly afraid!..LOL!
also, I forgot an important word in the narrative above..the Tuckerman's stairway was cordoned so you could NOT I needed a 'cord' to keep me from going down!!

Going from the Mt Washington Valley region of Maine/NH, all the way down to the "Horse Capital of the World, Marion County" in Central Florida in April 2014, was quite a change to say the least! Photo ops, in a totally new and intriguing area of this very large and varied state, are slowly presenting themselves to me as I adjust to this brand new environment and much warmer weather!! I look forward to this new photographic chapter of my life!
