Brownfield, ME (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: of a snowy landscape off our very old barn windows..the mouth-blown glass exhibits the mild waviness and occasional air bubble characteristics of true antique window glass..and that's the reason we installed these old windows in a new structure..so pretty!

thanks everyone..I took this shot just in time..a short time after taking it, the snow on the barn roof came roaring down..so there is now a huge pile of snow in front of that window! and thanks to our Approvers for the recognition..:)

I love old glass, and it really made this a
unique and very beautiful shot, Susan! And
the new Blue frame doesn't clash with the paint
on your window frame at all!:-) Congratulations!

Glass is well worth the effort. I bought hand blown glass from Sweden for my grandfather clock projects to achieve the same affect. Lovely photo with wonderful colors and texture. Congrats.

About suzi46

suzi46

Living in the mountains of Western Maine on a 15 acre 'gentleman's farm', in a hand hewn log home, has been a wonderful experience these past 6 1/2 years. But it was time to downsize and make a major lifestyle change..so that's what we did!! Going from the Mt Washington Valley region of Maine/NH all the way down to the "Horse Capital of the World"..Marion County in Central Florida! New photo ops in a totally new and intriguing area of this very large and varied state..let the fun begin!
